A Korg AX1000G? You're friggin' kidding. I thought I was the only one left with one of those.

I was a 100% Korg AX freak until I got my POD XT Live. Hated the factory presets, but I managed to edit the AX to my liking pretty easily. I've got it in my hands now - as I recall, the "US High-Gain" Amp setting is supposed to emulate a Boogie Dual Rectifier. Run that thru the "4x12 Modern" cabinet setting and the "Stereo Chorus" Modulation setting (with low depth), and you should have the start for a good basic Petrucci tone. If anyone else has any suggestions, chime in, but I'll go online later and see if I can find any other setting suggestions that might help.
