Based on latest Dream Theater release history... Dream Theater has released a new major studio album on average every 708 days from the previous release going back to Scenes from A Memory. Systematic Chaos was released on June 6, 2007, so if you add 708 days to that date and round down to the nearest Tuesday (most albums are released on Tuesdays) the next major studio release would be on (statistically speaking of course):

This date is based on the latest track record, but our guess is that you can expect a new album somewhere around this time frame and a world tour shortly thereafter.
