New features are being added all the time, so visit this user guide regularly to learn more about how to make the most of this community. Updating your profile with a picture. - Upon successful logon, click the Profile link under your User Menu, which is located on the right side of the web page.
- Click the Edit button and select Update Your Image
- Select one of the default images or click browse to find an image you wish to use. When complete, click Upload.
Connecting with other fans - Currently you may search on user username, or user first and last name. This feature will be extended to search by other criteria such as City and Country.
- Simply click the User Lit link within the User Menu to see user names.
Using the Forum - Click on the Musician’s Forum button.
- Click on a forum name to open the entire forum, or click a recent post to open that item.
- Click the user Karma buttons (green is good, red is bad) to raise or lower a users Karma. This helps fans to police the site for anyone who may be violating the site policies or otherwise spreading negative energy.
- Use the various buttons to interact on the forum
- Quick Reply: Immediately opens a text box for your response.
- Reply: Create a formatted response with emoticons, upload an image or file, and more.
- Quote: Put the original message you read into a response you will write.
Subscribing to DreamTheater.com News Feed - Click the RSS button in the bottom-right area of the web page.
- Click the Subscribe to this Feed link when the RSS page appears.
